About the Foundation

For 14 years, the Rimantas Kaukėnas Support Group has been providing assistance to children in Lithuania battling cancer – from essential medication and therapies to fulfilling their dreams and bringing moments of joy during hospital stays. It’s a path of kindness built by a community, offering strength and hope through the uncertainty of illness.

We are pleased to announce that the foundation is expanding beyond Lithuania and launching active operations in the United States. This step was taken in response to the support and willingness of the Lithuanian-American community to be part of our mission.

Our Goal in the US

We believe that kindness knows no borders. That’s why we invite those living in the US to support meaningful help for young patients in Lithuania. Your donations can provide life-saving medication, vital therapies, or simply bring a smile to a child’s face.

Projects, initiatives, and support born within the US community can bring even more hope and faith to children in Lithuania. It’s a strong bond between people and a heartfelt reminder: together, we are stronger.

We fulfill children's dreams

We believe that good emotions help to get away from the difficult everyday life for a while and feel better. We fulfill the dreams of seriously ill children, turning the most secret and unexpected wishes into reality.

We provide immediate assistance

We provide assistance to the families of seriously ill children, providing all the help they need at that time. We provide care facilities, medicines, rehabilitation, and we also help emotionally to survive a period full of uncertainty.

We cooperate with medical institutions

In order to improve the quality of treatment for many patients, we cooperate with the National Cancer Institute (NVI), VUL Santaras clinics, LSMU Kaunas clinics. We are happy that our close friendship helps us to move forward towards more modern, convenient and accurate research and treatment.

We organize events and projects

The activities of the foundation are inseparable from the events during which we not only meet the large community of the foundation, our heroes and their parents, but also encourage them to actively spend their free time, be friends and at the same time contribute to meaningful initiatives, sharing warmth with others.

How the support is used

The activities of the charitable foundation, which have been carried out for more than 10 years, are filled with new projects, initiatives or events every year, but the values that guide us in our daily decision-making, communication with the foundation’s partners and each other have not changed since the beginning of the foundation. We value and cherish the sincere community and team of the foundation – your dedication allows us to act purposefully, concentratedly, helping more and more sick people every year. We value transparent movement forward, so we share with you all the help provided, dreams fulfilled and ideas implemented.
